Backlist Resurrector Pro
Use the book’s current positioning, marketing history, and available assets to generate a relaunch plan. The result includes draft copy and a calendar for you to review and carry out.

1. Open the app and choose your AI provider.
After purchase, enter your license key in My Library and open Backlist Resurrector Pro. Select Settings, choose a supported AI engine and model, enter your API key, and save the settings.
The app purchase and AI provider usage are separate. Your provider account needs API access and available credits. Read the API setup guide if this is your first tool.
2. Complete the book intake.
- Required: book title, genre, and core tropes.
- Story context: author or pen name, series information, heat level, comparable titles, and the current blurb.
- Current position: distribution, review range, monthly revenue range, and your confidence in the cover.
- Marketing context: what you have already tried and the assets you have, such as a newsletter, reader magnet, or bonus epilogue.
Use accurate details. The tool bases its advice on the information you supply. Include comparable titles only when the comparison fits your book.
3. Add the question you most need answered.
Use Your Biggest Question About This Book to direct the plan. For example: “How can I reintroduce this book to my newsletter with two hours a week and no new cover budget?”
You can upload a cover image for visual feedback when your selected provider supports it. Without an image, packaging advice is based on your description and cover-confidence score. The Book DNA panel is also available if you want to bring in manuscript context.
4. Select Resurrect This Book.
Wait for the complete plan to appear. The app requests a diagnosis, packaging guidance, three blurb versions, social hooks, advertising drafts, a newsletter re-pitch, and a 14-day action calendar. If you supplied a question, the plan also includes an answer.
AI output varies. Treat the diagnosis as suggestions to investigate, and check that all generated story details and claims match your book.
5. Choose what to use.
Read the three blurb directions and select the strongest starting point. Edit the hooks and email copy to match your voice. Check retailer availability, links, comparable titles, and any advertising claims before publishing.
Adapt the calendar to your actual time and budget. A recommended cover change or ad campaign is an option to evaluate, not an action the tool takes for you. You publish the posts, send emails, and manage advertising yourself.
6. Save the plan.
- Copy this section: copy one part of the results.
- Copy Full Plan: copy the complete plan into your own document.
- Print / Save PDF: open the browser’s print dialog and choose a printer or Save as PDF.
- Start Over: return to the intake for another plan. Save the current result first.
If something goes wrong
API error: confirm the selected provider, key, model access, and available credits in Settings. Generic advice: add a more specific blurb, marketing history, and question. Missing or unsuitable suggestions: revise the input and review the result before deciding whether to generate again; each request may incur provider charges.
