Your final pass should still sound like you.
The plot is in place. Now make the sentences work. Final Fiction Edit guides your AI assistant through every chapter to find overwritten explanations, forced dialogue, repetition, awkward prose, and problems left behind by earlier edits—without flattening your voice.

AI account and usage costs are separate. This is an instruction skill and written mini-course, not a standalone app or human editing service.
A careful line edit, not an accidental rewrite
Degloss without stripping the texture
Find explanations that repeat an emotion already shown, stacked metaphors, generic profundity, and formulaic “not X” chains. Keep imagery and emotional layers that earn their place.
Dialogue that belongs to its speakers
Repair stiff exchanges, exposition ladders, symmetrical banter, and unclear responses. Preserve deliberate formality and uncanny voices instead of making everyone sound contemporary.
Prose with room to breathe
Review rhythm, repeated body beats, sentence starters, confusing syntax, and unnecessary scene breaks. Use small, in-voice repairs with no arbitrary cutting target.
Chapter-by-chapter verification
Track complete reads, reread revised chapters, and check for omissions, altered meaning, formatting damage, and new repetitive phrases.

What it does not promise
This is a final line-level workflow, not a developmental overhaul, expansion service, AI-authorship detector, or guarantee of error-free publication. File access and native-app editing depend on your assistant's tools. You remain the author and final decision-maker.
