What we collect

When you buy from the Darkling Collective Store, we receive the contact and purchase information needed to confirm payment, provide access, prevent fraud, and support your order. Payment details are processed by Stripe and are not stored on this website.

Purchase access

We use your checkout email and purchase record to create and verify access to the products you bought. Purchase and access records may be stored with Stripe and Supabase. The store is hosted by Netlify.

Optional marketing emails

Joining the Darkling Dispatch is optional. If you choose to receive it, we send your name, email address, and the product you purchased to MailerLite so we can send author tips, product and course news, and occasional offers. Declining marketing does not affect your purchase or access.

You may unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. Purchase confirmations, access information, and replies to support requests are service communications and are handled separately from marketing preferences.

Sharing and retention

We share information only with service providers that help operate the store, process payments, provide access, send emails you requested, and maintain security. We retain purchase and access records for business, support, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes. Marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to records needed to honor that choice.

Your choices

• Do not select the marketing checkbox at checkout if you do not want promotional email.
• Use the unsubscribe link in any Darkling Dispatch email.
• Ask to access, correct, or delete eligible personal information by contacting us.
